In the Lithuanian language there is 7 cases. This part of the grammar resembles Russian, Belarusian languages, but closest to the Ukrainian language, in which also 7 cases. In addition to the main (nominative, genitive, dative, accusative, instrumental), Lithuanian also has a vocative case, and instead of the prepositional case the so-called local.
